Last week on Nitro: Sting '99 defeated Goldberg to become the NEW WCW World Heavyweight Champion!

Also last week: Lex Luger delivered payback against Curt Hennig with an attack of his own, angered by his rival's actions from two weeks ago when Hennig and Luger were forced to compete alongside each other in tag team action and Hennig left Luger high and dry to finish the match two on one.

Tonight: The now former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg will go one on one against “The Total Package” Lex Luger who actually already has one victory over the then-champion Goldberg that he picked up in December. Goldberg looks to tie up that loose end tonight before setting his sights on the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion Sting '99.
