Tonight on RAW IS WAR: Fresh off of their successful title defense against The Rock 'n' Sock Connection last night at Royal Rumble '01, Stone Cold Steve Austin '97 and Dude Love must defend the World Tag Team Championships against D-Generation X!

Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't give a damn about who the Royal Rumble last night. All he cares about is that WWE Championship that Shawn Michaels '97 walked off with last night. Austin wants a championship rematch right here tonight.

DX's Shawn Michaels '98 comes out to the ring and says that while they're in the ring making demands, HBK '98 and DX want those World Tag Team Titles. Michaels '98 thinks it be fitting if HBK '97 took the WWE Title from Austin while HBK '98 and DX took the tag titles from Austin. “The Rattlesnake” attacks HBK as a brawl breaks loose that Austin gets the better of.

The NEW WWE Champion Shawn Michaels '97 boasts about how he accomplished exactly what he set out to accomplish last night. He didn't need to take on 29 other Superstars to punch his ticket to WrestleMania. He took advantage of the RAW IS WAR brand not hosting a Royal Rumble match this year. Instead they held a Battle Royal to determine which RAW IS WAR Superstar would challenge the WWE Champion at WrestleMania.

Michaels '97 would win that prize at the end of the night but had a grander vision in mind. He wanted to ENTER WrestleMania as the top dog, as THE WWE Champion. So instead of waiting two long months to challenge the champion, Michaels exchanged his prize to enter himself into the already stacked WWE Championship match at Royal Rumble '01.

Mr. WrestleMania and he lived up to that name last night when he defeated three of the biggest Superstars in WWE history. Now he fulfills his vision and is on-track to ENTER WrestleMania as THE WWE Champion. That is...if he can hold on to the championship!

HBK '97 is interrupted by Cactus Jack who challenges him to a championship match to which Michaels replies simply “get in line”.

Last week on RAW IS WAR: Mosh defeated Kama Mustafa. Tonight, they clash in a rematch!
