LAST WEEK ON RAW: After it was announced that Neville would once again challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Extreme Rules (this time with his RAW contract on the line), Neville was attacked from behind after his match. MIDDLE CARD PROMO

The Miz talks about how two weeks ago, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and RAW GM Mick Foley simultaneously appointed Dean Ambrose and The Miz as co-acting GM for the night. Dean would lose to the Intercontinental Champion Bray Wyatt while Miz took down THE BIG SHOW like it was nothing. Judging by what transpired, there doesn't even need to be a match between them to find out who's better because the results speak for themselves.

The Lunatic Fringe” interrupts and congratulates The Miz on beating Big Show. That is literally a Herculean feat. Ambrose also gives credit to Bray Wyatt for besting him and says that when you battle Bray, you have to compete in two matches: a physical match and a mental one and on that night Bray showed why he is one the best at mental combat. However, Dean is still confident that he can beat The Miz but if Miz is too unsure of himself to accept the challenge then Ambrose understands.

Miz gets riled up and tells Ambrose that he'll see him at Extreme Rules. There he can expect The Miz to make quick work of him just like Baron Corbin made quick work of Ambrose last year at SummerSlam and just like Randy Orton made quick work of Ambrose last year at Backlash!

Heyman even went so far as to say that a Bálor victory was the outcome he was pulling for, wishing Finn luck on Lesnar's behalf. Bálor responded by giving Heyman a message for “The Conqueror” in return: That he would indeed beat Neville tonight and then be the next in line to challenge for the Universal Title!
