TONIGHT ON NITRO: The WCW United States Champion Goldberg '98 and the former United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page '98 go one one one!

LAST WEEK ON NITRO: Both “Stunning” Steve Austin and Brian Pillman seemingly appeared to accept the nWo's offer to join their ranks. However, looks can be deceiving as The Hollywood Blonds pulled a page out of the nWo's playbook as they cornered the nWo's Curt Hennig and beat him down. Despite the beatdown, Hennig escaped and got the last laugh in as he left The Blonds laying.

Nevertheless, Disco is ready to compete tonight and show everyone firsthand why he should be the champ.

Sabu shows up much to Disco's surprise as he asks what Sabu is doing in front of him since Disco heard that Sabu was signed to compete in the WCW hardcore division. Sabu remains silent as Disco supposes that he'll have to crash Sabu's return tonight.

Sting '98 would go on to defeat “The Beast From The East” later that night.

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

Sting '98 calls out Bret “The Hitman” Hart '98 and challenges him to a rematch but is ultimately rejected and told by Bret that last week's win against Bam Bam could have easily been a fluke. A fired-up Sting reminds Bret who Sting is and tells “The Hitman” that he'll be glad to take on Bigelow one more time but Bret won't like what he sees because that world of hurt that Bam Bam is about to experience has a course locked and set for Bret Hart!
