LAST NIGHT AT WWE EXTREME RULES: Brock Lesnar defeated Neville in a championship rematch to retain the WWE Universal Championship. Since then, as predicted by many in the WWE Universe, WWE officials moved Neville to the RAW cruiserweight division, thus removing Neville from competition for the Universal Championship completely.

ALSO LAST NIGHT AT WWE EXTREME RULES: Samoa Joe defeated Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman and The Undertaker in an Extreme Rules Fatal 4-Way Match to become the #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship.

TONIGHT ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW: The #1 contender for the Universal Championship, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe goes one on one against “The Architect” Seth Rollins. Last month, Rollins was able to pick up several victories over Joe but “The Samoan Submission Machine” has mounted a big comeback as of late with his tag team win against Rollins last week and his big Extreme Rules Fatal 4-Way win last night. Tonight, Joe looks to avenge his singles losses against Seth Rollins!

INTERVIEW: Braun Strowman talks about how Samoa Joe won last night's Extreme Rules Fatal 4-Way Match after Joe pinned The Undertaker. Strowman blames “The Dead Man” for denying him his Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar and wants to punish The Undertaker tonight.

INTERVIEW: Sheamus and Cesaro boast about their big title defense last night, scoring a victory for RAW over SmackDown Live. They explain that here in the WWE, they don't just set the bar, they ARE the bar. Case in point – the RAW tag rankings. There aren't title contenders anywhere in sight. As a result, Sheamus and Cesaro have challenged the tag team nearest to contention, Heath Slater and Rhyno!

INTERVIEW: Paul Heyman addresses Samoe Joe's victory last night to become the #1 contender for the Universal Championship, stating that while Samoa Joe is a worst-case scenario for the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, “The Beast Incarnate” would be victorious in their championship match next month at WWE Great Balls of Fire. Despite this, Heyman wished Joe good luck in good sportsmanship.

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

Samoa Joe narrates, moment-by-moment, what's going to happen in the forthcoming, Brock Lesnar-addressed Coquina Clutch and demands that Heyman describe the feeling of the maneuver to Lesnar, whose absence tonight has disappointed Joe. The WWE Universe chants "We want Brock!" prompting Joe to say that he wanted Brock too.

NEXT WEEK ON RAW: "The Conqueror” himself, the WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, will be on RAW in Lafayette, LA. The #1 contender, Samoa Joe might regret his wish!

LAST WEEK ON WWE MAIN EVENT: Gran Metalik picked up a big non-title victory against TJP!

NEXT: TJP continues to insist that Gran Metalik's win against him last week was nothing but a fluke. He refuses to give Metalik a championship opportunity and instead opts to challenge Metalik to a rematch to prove that last week was nothing but a fluke

LAST NIGHT AT WWE EXTREME RULES: Bray Wyatt defeated Rob Van Dam and Bobby Roode in a Triple Threat Match to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship after pinning RVD following a Sister Abigail.

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

Bobby Roode gives credit where credit is due and congratulates Bray Wyatt on successfully defending the Intercontinental Championship...against Rob Van Dam. However, Roode does NOT congratulate Bray on successfully defending the Intercontinental Championship against Bobby Roode because Bray never made Roode to be pinned or submitted.

Bray Wyatt appears and gives credit back to Bobby Roode for concocting an excuse feasible enough to make those in power, whether it be these people in the crowd or back in the offices, consider Bobby's words. “The Reaper of Souls” Bray Wyatt accepts Bobby's challenge to a one on one championship rematch, closing by saying that Bobby's last vestiges of relevancy are slipping away and Bray will be the one to extinguish it for good.
