Rusev states his complaint that he was not pinned or made to submit in the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship at Backlash last month. He says that it should be him challenging Roman for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank and not The Rock.

The WWE Champion Roman Reigns tells Rusev that he's a fighting champion and if Rusev feels like he should be the one with the Championship opportunity at Money in the Bank then Roman doesn't mind Rusev stepping up to the plate tonight. After all, SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan both agree that SmackDown Live is the land of opportunity and tonight Reigns is going to tie up a little loose end called Rusev.
