TONIGHT ON THE SEASON FINALE OF MONDAY NIGHT RAW: Samoa Joe and Triple H will take on Goldberg who feels like can demolish Hunter and Joe on his own.

LAST WEEK ON RAW: The Miz pinned the WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor in a six-man tag team match.

TONIGHT: The Miz meets with RAW GM Mick Foley and is pleased to hear the rumblings that Miz has been added to the Intercontinental Championship match at Great Balls of Fire. Miz would be even more pleased if he were to receive an opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship right here tonight.

Foley grants Miz's request but with one caveat. If Miz wins then he'll enter the Fatal 4-Way as IC champion but if Miz loses tonight then he will be removed from the match entirely.

LAST WEEK ON WWE MAIN EVENT: The Hardy Boyz scored a big victory against Gallows and Anderson, skyrocketing Matt and Jeff right up the RAW Tag Team Championship rankings. Following that big victory there was a groundswell of support for The Hardys to challenge Sheamus and Cesaro for the RAW Tag Team Championship at Great Balls of Fire.

INTERVIEW: Despite Goldberg's bravado, RAW GM Mick Foley feels like Goldberg needs a tag partner tonight.

Concerning The Hardy Boyz matter, Foley is always a man of the people. However, Heath Slater and Rhyno do have a contractually obligated championship rematch for a 30-Minute Iron Man Match. There was also sizable support on social media for Heath as many in the WWE Universe voiced how Heath's got kids and he needs this opportunity.

Heath Slater (alongside Rhyno) reassured Foley, saying that Rhyno and him would love to face The Hardy Boyz tonight. Matt and Jeff are dream opponents for Slater and Rhyno has experience in beating them up. What would it mean for them to knock off The Hardys tonight and then regain the RAW Tag Team Titles?

Despite not even taking the fall in that tag match, Ambrose was nevertheless removed and is now not scheduled to appear at the PPV.
