ANNOUNCEMENT: The new RAW General Manager Kurt Angle announces that in two weeks at WWE Extreme Rules, there will an Extreme Rules Fatal 5-Way to determine who will be the next #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship! The competitiors will be: “The Game” Triple H, the returning Superstar “Buzz”, “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoe Joe, Finn Bálor and “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman!

TONIGHT ON RAW: It will be Braun Strowman and Triple H in tag team action taking on the returning “Buzz” Aaron James and a partner of his choosing! Also, the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar meets his challenger at Extreme Rules, “The Architect” Seth Rollins!

KICKING OFF RAW: After knocking off Heath Slater and Rhyno last week, The Hardy Boyz are one step closer towards challenging The Bar for the RAW Tag Team Championships. Tonight, Matt and Jeff must get past The Miztourage!

IN TWO WEEKS AT WWE EXTREME RULES: Former champion Paige challenges Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women's Championship in an Extreme Rules Match!

INTERVIEW: The RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss outlines all of the RAW Women's Champions so far in 2017: Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax (“No offense” says Alexa) and Paige and states how none of them have been able to get two successful title defenses as champ. Bliss promises to be the successful, fighting champion that the WWE Universe can be proud of.

Alexa brings up her non-title loss to Mickie James two weeks ago on RAW and hopes that Paige is paying attention because Bliss is about to make an example out of Mickie tonight!

INTERVIEW: The returning “Buzz” Aaron James is feeling good to back on this new season of RAW and is looking forward to winning that Fatal 5-Way #1 Contender's Match at Extreme Rules. As far as tonight goes, facing Braun Strowman and Triple H is no easy task. It wasn't too long ago where Buzz was competing in high school gyms and parking lots for BCW (cheap plug). However, Buzz has been in the ring with both “The Game” and “The Monster” and is looking forward to showing them the Buzz that stands before them!

As far as who Buzz has found to be his partner...it's Buzz we're talking here so it's obviously going to be someone like his old buddy Cole Quinn or maybe even Barron Blade.

The former Intercontinental Champion Darren Young calls out The Miz and challenges him to a championship rematch. Miz says he would like nothing more than to make easy work of Darren Young tonight but Miz feels that Santa Clara has already been spoiled enough having WrestleMania 31. They don't deserve to see The Miz defend his Intercontinental Championship. Miz tells Darren Young that he'll see him at Extreme Rules.

LAST WEEK ON RAW: Finn Bálor defeated Samoa Joe in their rubber match!

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

An incensed Samoa Joe calls out Finn Bálor for being satisfied with such an unsatisfying outcome. That 1916 did nothing to Joe and that referee made an error. This can be evidenced by Joe immediately getting back to his feet after the attempted pinfall. If Finn was any kind of a man, he would face Joe in this ring right now and admit this.

Finn Bálor calmly and coyly tells Joe that it seems like he's been trying to convince himself that he didn't lose. Finn wonders what excuses Joe will come up with after Extreme Rules when Finn once again comes out as the winner.

WRESTLEMANIA 31 IN SANTA CLARA: Seth Rollins cashed in Money in the Bank to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Brock Lesnar.

The WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar calls out his opponent at Extreme Rules, Seth Rollins. Seth calls himself “The Beast Slayer” but at Extreme Rules “The Beast” is going to expose that as false advertisement.

Darren Young demanded that the Intercontinental Champion meet him in the ring, ready to cut him down in front of the crowd in a verbal exchange. The Miz answered the call without hesitation and held his own ground on the mic, staring off the build-up to their title match at Extreme Rules in an exciting way!

“Buzz” Aaron James has suffered a minor injury during his match. Although still cleared to compete, the threat of further injury should be a concern on this Superstar's mind.

Heath Slater has been cleared by medical staff to compete once again! This Superstar is ready to make an impact on the scene as he makes his return to the ring.
