Shawn Michaels '97 says that it's no secret that the man who calls himself “The Showstopper” and “The Headliner” wants to be at the very top of the world title division as the WWE Champion '98-'02 and HBK intends to knock off everyone in his path. Last week on SmackDown '00 he even kicked the face right off of the devil himself, Mr. McMahon and he's out here tonight to challenge the next guy on his list...

HBK has overcome a lot of obstacles including some all-out brawls with the deranged Mankind but now Shawn is calling out Cactus Jack. HBK vs Cactus Jack, right here tonight!

Cactus Jack tells Michaels that he may have barely escaped Mind Games with Mankind many moons ago but he's never been in the fight of his life like you are when you step into the ring with Cactus Jack!

Trish has done this five times straight now with the most recent occasion occurring last week on SmackDown when she defeated Victoria to regain the Women's Championship.

INTERVIEW: Victoria plans to strike back and retake the women's title but tonight she's got a whole new level of hurt coming Trish's way.

LAST WEEK ON RAW IS WAR: “The Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman won the WWE Intercontinental Championship '98-'11 in what is the biggest win of his career.

TONIGHT: RAW IS WAR emanates live from the nation's capital as “The Loose Cannon” is making the rounds and introducing himself to everyone there as their Intercontinental Champion and one that they can count on. One particular suit isn't interested in anything that he has to say which only serves to set off Pillman who ultimately agrees to walk away......but not before walloping that guy in the back with the Intercontinental Title.

LAST WEEK ON SMACKDOWN '00: Faarooq, the leader of The Nation of Domination, defeated The Godfather.

TONIGHT: Although the The Godfather has challenged Faarooq to a rematch, D'Lo Brown steps up to The Godfather. One-half of the World Tag Team Champions, The Rock '01, appears and tells The Godfather that The Rock 'N' Sock Connection have another impending beatdown coming The Nation's way and offers to team up with him to take on The Nation tonight.

Dude Love goes on to recount how he was defeated by “The Big Red Machine” Kane last week on SmackDown '00 and then attacked Dude Love after the match. So Dude Love makes it known that he's coming for Kane!

SHOW CLOSER PROMO

Savio Vega may be currently ranked right above Cactus Jack but the crafty Mick Foley's Dude Love persona is ranked right above Savio. The Caribbean Superstar may give “The Hardcore Legend” credit for having several personas in the world title division but Savio Vega says that he only needs one and he wants to challenge The Dudester to a match right here next week on RAW IS WAR!

NOTE: The WWE Champion '98-'02, The Undertaker's next challenger is schedule to be Stone Cold Steve Austin. Things are heating up after Austin's brawl with 'Taker last week on SmackDown '00.
