TONIGHT ON NXT: Coming off of his two straight victories against Tommaso Ciampa, Kassius Ohno challenges the next NXT Superstar on his way towards an NXT Championship opportunity, The Velveteen Dream!

TONIGHT: The chairman of WWE himself, Mr. McMahon, is paying a visit to NXT. Mr. McMahon and NXT General Manager William Regal are in the backstage area and Mr. McMahon apparently wants to see what some of these NXT Superstars are made of.

Mr. McMahon sees Killian Dain of SAnitY and pokes the proverbial bear a bit by taking jabs at his fearsome appearance. To see what Dain can do firsthand, Mr. McMahon confers with Mr. Regal about having Killian Dain TEAM UP with the chairman to take on any team in NXT of Mr. Regal's choosing!

TWO MONTHS AGO ON NXT: Cezar Bononi picked up a big win against Andrade “Cien” Almas. Both Superstars now have one victory against each other and Andrade made it clear last week that he's looking beat the imposing Bononi decisively when he interfered in Bononi's match against Lars Sullivan, causing a disqualification.

LAST WEEK ON NXT: Alicia Fox came to NXT with the intentions of tying loose ends from the past by taking down Aliyah who's picked up a victory or two against Alicia on the main roster in the past. However, history would go on to repeat itself as Aliyah picked up one more victory against Fox!

Bobby Roode will challenge Johnny Gargano for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. Roode delivered an arrogant address to the NXT Universe that was sure to be heard by “Johnny Wrestling” wherever he was watching. Roode talks about how fate has led him to this moment. This is now Bobby Roode's NXT and he will beat Johnny Gargano for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: Brooklyn in an moment that will be absoluetly GLORIOUS.
