Regal offered the solution that the former DIY teammates face off in an Unsanctioned Match at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. If Gargano prevails then his NXT contract will be reinstated. If Ciampa wins, Gargano will be banished from NXT forever! Until then Gargano is a guest of Mr. Regal's.

Ember Moon called the NXT Women's Champion out to the ring, eager to show her up on the mic. Shayna Baszler answered the challenge and had her own words to share, but turned the verbal exchange into a physical one after starting a brawl! The NXT Women's Champion looking infuriated that the challenger would have the nerve to call her out.
