Before the bout begins, Ariya Daivari addresses the WWE Universe and explains that while he wants a WWE Cruiserweight Championship opportunity, Drake Maverick won't permit it. Unfazed by Noam Dar, “The Persian Lion” is determined to prove he is the best in WWE.
