ANNOUNCEMENT: NXT GM William Regal informs Shayna Baszler that she will in fact challenge Kairi Sane for the NXT Women's Championship and in order to obtain an indisputable result, the match will be Two out of Three Falls and it will take place at NXT TakeOver this Sunday!

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

Johnny Gargano expresses no remorse for his actions against Aleister Black. Though the ambush caused Black to miss months of action (including a chance to reclaim the NXT Championship from Tommaso Ciampa at TakeOver: Brooklyn), Gargano says the assault was “nothing personal” and that Black simply “got in the way” of Gargano fulfilling his promise to take down “The Blackheart”.

Gargano insists that he's still the same man he's always been — i.e., the “good guy” and the “hero at the end of the story.” The only difference now, Gargano claims, is that he realizes he must fight dirty sometimes.

Looking ahead to his match with Aleister at TakeOver, Gargano accepts the fact Black wants to kick his face off, but adds that he's not afraid. Gargano ends his confession on a menacing note, saying he left Black laying once before, and promises to do so again at TakeOver.

NEXT: Several days out from Velveteen Dream's NXT Championship Match against Tommaso Ciampa at TakeOver, Lars Sullivan has one objective in mind: Destroy The Dream and render him unable to battle “The Blackheart” at TakeOver, creating a void that could only be filled by Sullivan.
