IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Mr. McMahon is with the WWE Champion '05-'13 Edge and pitches ideas for improvements that Edge could make for the betterment of his career as the champion. However, Edge declines this offer which is something the chairman is not used to hearing as it immediately brings up a thick moment of tenseness between the two.

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

Mankind knows that Jake “The Snake” Roberts was behind the attack on him at the hands of The Undertaker '91 thanks to Jake's possession of Undertaker's urn. Mankind wants to give Roberts some of that backstage brawl brutality in the form of a Falls Count Anywhere Match but Jake declines.

However, Jake has a counteroffer of a Falls Count Anywhere Tornado Tag Team Match for Mankind's WWE Tag Team Championship '10-'16. Mankind accepts on behalf of The Rock ($500 Shirt) and the match is set for Elimination Chamber '17. Upon the acceptance, Jake suddenly drops Mankind with a low blow, setting off a brawl that Mankind gets the better of!

INTERVIEW: The WWE Divas Champion Charlotte Flair '17 addresses Alexa Bliss' claims that she's got the eye of WWE management as their favorite by promising her that whatever favoritism that she thinks they have for her will disappear once they see “The Queen” take care of her at Elimination Chamber '17!

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Mr. McMahon meets with Triple H and discusses immediate plans to take the WWE Championship '05-'13 off of Edge, citing phony stats of “numbers not meeting his desired mark” and that it's a decision made simply for the betterment of business. In an unexpected move, Triple H decides not to go along with this plan and says that Edge's future will be determined in an Elimination Chamber Match where it will be every man for himself.

INTERVIEW: Naomi talks about how Dana Brooke disrespected her last week by slapping her in the face backstage for no reason and then blindsided Naomi after their match. Dana seems to be going out of her way to make sure that the karma that comes her way will be twofold. Naomi has called out Dana tonight but just like on RAW '16 Dana again does not respond.

SHOW CLOSER PROMO

Stone Cold Steve Austin came all the way to Las Vegas to drink some beer and to whoop some ***. However, come to find out that Diesel and Razor Ramon are not here tonight. At this point, Razor appears on the Ovaltron and tells Austin that he doesn't need “Big Daddy Cool” to beat Austin. He tells “The Rattlesnake” to meet him on RAW '16 for a one-on-one match!

INTERVIEW: Mr. McMahon is in his ring gear and says that Triple H is right. In the interest of what's best for business, Mr. McMahon has decided that Edge is to lose the WWE Championship '05-'13 in the Elimination Chamber and the man to make sure of that will be none other than Mr. McMahon himself! Tonight, McMahon wants to go one-on-one with Triple H and if Vince wins then he takes Hunter's spot in the Elimination Chamber!
