TONIGHT ON NITRO: After a heated confrontation between the two of the greatest of all-time, Hollywood Hulk Hogan goes one-on-one against “The Macho Man” Randy Savage!

SHOW OPENER PROMO

The WCW World Tag Team Champions, The Outsiders, aren't scared of their record-breaking title reign ending any time soon and they don't fear Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero. Those two couldn't even win the ECW World Tag Team Championship recently. So the answer to the most cliched interview question in the history of sports-entertainment: Are Hall and Nash overlooking Rey and Eddie? YES!

NEXT: The reigning WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak crashed Nitro and challenged Rey Mysterio for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship and voiced his intention of becoming a “Triple Crown Cruiserweight Champion”.

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

With the big WCW United States Championship match between Goldberg and Sting '99 next week, Goldberg talks about his great respect for Sting and how the pair will always be the unofficial tag team that will always take it to the New World Order. However, next week is about competition and it's up to Goldberg to run through Sting '99 and once again ask who's next. Goldberg NEEDS this win because as he sees it, the torch of WCW started with Ric Flair, was then passed to Sting and Goldberg intends to keep a firm grasp on that torch after next week.

SHOW CLOSER PROMO

Sting versus Ric Flair is a rivalry as old as time itself but Sting '91, the reigning WCW World Heavyweight Champion is intent on making a stand by beating Flair instead of re-entering a rivalry where the two engage in a tug-of-war for the title. For himself, Sting needs to be the fighting champion that WCW deserves.

At this point, Ric Flair '88 enters the frame and accuses Sting of having Alzheimer's because Flair once again reminds Sting that while he's the big champ on campus, he's always living on borrowed time as long as “The Nature Boy” is around and Flair intends to take back what is rightfully his.
