Coming up tomorrow night is the WCW/Japan Supershow where Ric Flair '88 will defend the WCW World Heavyweight Championship '91-'93 against “The Dragon” Tatsumi Fujinami. Tonight on WCW Saturday Night in Long Island, Flair and Fujinami were set to compete in a tag team match-up but Fujinami is nursing a minor back injury. Fujinami wants to be as strong and as healthy as possible going into the WCW/Japan Supershow tomorrow so WCW officials approached Fujinami with an alternative idea for a main event tonight in order to give him time to nurse himself back to health in time for the supershow tomorrow. Flair and Fujinami will both pick representatives that will face each other in tonight's main event. “The Nature Boy” and “The Dragon” will be in both of their corners.
