My WWE 2K18 Results: WCW Monday Nitro (May.Week 4)

WCW Monday Nitro
May, Week 4, Year 1
Tulsa, OK

Match #1
Normal Match
Vader vs Fit Finlay
Winner by pinfall: Vader (Vader Bomb)(3 ½ * Great)

Middle Card Promo
Disco Inferno comes out to brag and boast about defeating Sting '98 last week when he stops short to begin campaigning to be a part of Sting 98's Wolf Pack.

Footage is shown of Scott Hall defeating an injured Goldberg in a hardcore match last week on Nitro to become the NEW WCW Hardcore Champion. Goldberg has since made a complete recovery from his injuries, and is ready to compete at full strength again. It won't be long before Goldberg comes looking for revenge against one of his most bitter enemies in Scott Hall, the man who ended Goldberg's streak.

The current state of the NWO is an interesting one. The Outsiders remain the nucleus of the group alongside Ted DiBiase. In addition, Bret “The Hitman” Hart '98 has been known to be somewhat loosely affiliated with the group. Sting '98 appeared on the scene last year heading up The Wolf Pack while surprisingly showing to be an ally of Hall and Nash. Sting and Lex Luger have reunited their long standing tag team as Luger is an alumni of The Wolf Pack but does not trust anyone NWO-affiliated except for Sting which makes for a very tense alleigance for “The Total Package”. One thing remains clear, the New World Order want to take over WCW and Monday Nitro and they look to be well on their way to collecting all of the gold within World Championship Wrestling.

Match #2
WCW World Tag Team Championship Tournament
Tag Team Match
The Outsiders (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall)(w/Ted DiBiase) vs The Wolf Pack (Sting '98 & Lex Luger)
Winners: The Outsiders (Outsider's Edge from Hall on Luger)

Middle Card Promo
WCW World Heavyweight Champion, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair '91 calls out Sting '98 for seemingly abandoning the WCW locker room in favor of The Wolf Pack. As far as Flair is concerned, any form of the NWO is still the NWO. Sting comes out and explains that at its peak in the Monday Night War, WCW could not stop the NWO so Sting had to become a part of the solution that would solve the problem and that solution was to become a part of an elite crop of guys that knew what it took to bring down the tyrannical head of the NWO, Hollywood Hogan. Flair then calls Sting out for not returning to the WCW locker room now that Hollywood Hogan is no longer the head of the NWO. “The Nature Boy” releases a barrage of hurtful statements toward his former respected colleague which starts to fire Sting up who is now looking to put Flair in his place inside of this ring. Flair refuses Sting's challenge and says that he will file a complaint to get Sting suspended. Sting simply makes it clear that it won't be long before Flair will be hearing that Wolf Pack music again.

Footage is shown of Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat picking up a victory last week despite interference from Bret “The Hitman” Hart '98.
