Last week on RAW IS WAR, Shawn Michaels '98 delivered payback against Kurt Angle '01 with an attack of his own, angered by Angle's actions from two weeks ago where Angle walked out on Michaels in a tag team match. Tonight on RAW IS WAR in Green Bay, it will be “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels '98 who will take on the Big Show '00! Will Kurt Angle make his presence felt?

Kurt Angle '01 comes out to kick off RAW IS WAR in Green Bay and challenges Shawn Michaels '98 to raise the stakes at Over the Edge this Sunday and agree to make their match a Steel Cage Match. Angle wants the purest match possible and a steel cage would eliminate the possibility of any of Shawn's D-Generation X buddies to rear their ugly heads. HBK comes out and agrees to the Steel Cage Challenge but looks forward to it because there will be nowhere for Kurt to run inside of the cage. Mr. McMahon '01 comes out to the stage and simply says that he's up for raising the stakes even further. The winner of the Steel Cage Match at Over The Edge will become the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship! As the segment ends, Angle promises to give Shawn a little taste of the pain that awaits him this Sunday because Angle has pulled some strings, called in a few favors and has brought the Steel Cage to Green Bay tonight!

This Thursday night on SmackDown '00, it will be The Rock '00's turn to compete in a Pick Your Poison Match. Who will the WWE Champion, “Y2J” Chris Jericho choose as his opponent just mere days before their WWE Championship match at WWE Over The Edge.

An angry Chris Jericho says that The Rock won't have to wait until Thursday to find out who his opponent is because Jericho has chosen Mankind to face off against his very own tag team partner and co-champion, The Rock! It's simple, as far as Chris is concerned, Mankind is already in the title match at Over The Edge but now it's up to his best buddy The Rock to defeat him on SmackDown if Rock wants it to remain a one on one match. Jericho gives a coy smile before walking off.
