My WWE 2K18 Results: ECW (July.Week 1)

ECW
July, Week 1, Year 1
Philadelphia, PA

Last week on ECW, Eddie Guerrero defeated Bam Bam Bigelow to become the new #1 contender for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship currently held by Chris Jericho '00. The ECW World Heavyweight Championship match between Y2J and “Latino Heat” has been made official for four weeks from now on ECW. In the meantime, Jericho has casually suggested that Guerrero and him team up as a different way to compete with each other. Tonight's edition of ECW will feature their first match in this venture.

Match #1
Triple Threat Match
Crash Holly vs Sycho Sid vs Tazz
Winner by submission: Tazz (Tazzmission from Tazz on Crash)

Match #2
Normal Match
Scott Taylor vs Jake “The Snake” Roberts '96
Winner by pinfall: Scott Taylor! (The Worm Chop)(** Average)

The ECW World Tag Team Champions, The Dudley Boyz, are interviewed about the possibility of having to defend their championships against the team of Chris Jericho '00 and Eddie Guerrero or The Hollywood Blonds. The Dudleys could not care less who wins because when it comes to the ECW history books, no one ever brings up Jericho and Eddie or The Hollywood Blonds. They only ever bring up The Dudley Boyz. As far as Jericho and Eddie go, they may be competing for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship but they're entering their domain. The ECW World Tag Team Championship scene may as well be Dudleyville because it belongs to The Dudleys and Jericho and Eddie would be out of their mind to think that they could beat The Dudleys in their own world.

Match #3
Non-Title
Tag Team Match
The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley) vs The Bushwhackers (Butch & Luke)
Winners: The Bushwhackers!
ECW World Television Champion Scott Hall is interviewed and is asked about the possibility about having to defend his title against either Dusty Rhodes or Jim Neidhart. Hall says that the New World Order has arrived in ECW and Hall is taking over all by himself. Why? Because that's all that is needed for the NWO to take over ECW. As far as Dusty and Neidhart are concerned, they may be some of the greatest legends in this game but Scott Hall is the CURRENT ECW World Television Champion and he is on top of his game while they are beneath him in the ECW rankings for a reason. Bring them on because whoever wins the #1 contender's match tonight is going to get all carved up by “The Bad Guy”.

Match #4
#1 Contender's Match for the ECW World Television Championship
Normal Match
“The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes vs Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart
Winner by pinfall and #1 contender: Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart (Anvil Flattener)

The Hollywood Blonds are interviewed and talk about how it chaps their asses that everyone has already counted them out of their match tonight against Chris Jericho '00 and Eddie Guerrero. All that Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero are is a team that The Hollywood Blonds are going to make an example out of. An example of just why The Hollywood Blonds are the best tag team in ECW!

Match #5
Main Event
#1 Contender's Match for the ECW World Tag Team Championships
Tag Team Match
Chris Jericho '00 & Eddie Guerrero vs The Hollywood Blonds (Stunning Steve Austin & Brian Pillman)
Winners and #1 contenders: Chris Jericho '00 & Eddie Guerrero
