My WWE 2K18 Results: WCW Bash at the Beach (July.Week 3)

WCW Bash at the Beach
July, Week 3, Year 1
Orlando, FL

Last month, The Rock 'N' Roll Express returned to WCW and challenged some of the baddest dogs in the yard in The Enforcers. They would go on to clash in a series of tag team and singles matches that The Enforcers would win the majority of, albeit with the use of dirty tactics. Three times they'd meet in a tag team match and three times The Enforcers would walk away with the win. Tonight at Bash at the Beach, can The Rock 'N' Roll Express look to pick up their first win since returning to World Championship Wreslting. Can they neutralize The Enforcers and their dirty ways?

Rivalry Match
Tag Team Match
The Enforcers (Arn Anderson & Larry Zbyszko) vs The Rock 'N' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson)
Winners: The Rock 'N' Roll Express (Double Dropkick)(*** ½ Great)
Post-Match: Morton and Gibson celebrate their hard earned and long awaited victory as The Enforcers grumble their way back to the locker room.

The WCW World Tag Team Champions, The Fabulous Freebirds are on a roll as the reigning champs having turned away challengers after challengers. Tonight they face off against a tandem that they have defeated once before. Michael “P.S.” Hayes is even coming off of a rubber match victory last night on WCW Saturday Night over Cactus Jack '92, one half of their opponents tonight. Cactus Jack and Diamond Dallas Page '92 promise that tonight they'll be the team that brings a sudden end to the thrillride of The Freebirds.

Match #2

Several months ago in April at WCW Spring Stampede, Lord Steven Regal defeated Ric Flair and Bam Bam Bigelow to become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. However, Regal would immediately disappear afterwards for several months only to return tonight at WCW Bash at the Beach and looking to make his way back to the top and win back the WCW World Heavyweight Championship that he never lost.

Match #3
Normal Match
Dustin Rhodes vs Lord Steven Regal
Winner by pinfall: Dustin Rhodes (Running Bulldog)(*** Very Good)
Post-Match: Regal offers a handshake that Rhodes accepts before Regal raises his arm in a sign of good sportsmanship.

The Nature Boy” Ric Flair '91, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion '91-'93, reiterates his open challenge for tonight. He proclaims himself to be the real main event and the real WCW World Heavyweight Champion and if WCW management isn't going to put him on one of the biggest WCW events of the year then “The Nature Boy” '91 is going put himself on the show. He once again beckons for a challenge before receiving an answer.

Match #4

No Holds Barred Match
Ric Flair '91 vs Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat '91

Last night on WCW Saturday Night, Sting '88 made an appearance in the ring to address his recent success, promising to pile on more wins to earn bigger opportunities in the future. Tonight he will receive an opportunity to pick up a big victory in the form of Sting '91. Can Sting '88 make good on his promise and pick up the first victory in a string of many? It would prove to be a big one.

Match #5
Rivalry Match

Normal Match
Sting '91 vs Sting '88
Winner by submission: Sting '88 (Scorpion Deathlock)(*** Very Good)

Last month on WCW Saturday Night, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair '88 assaulted and took out the original opponent for Tatsumi Fujinami, thus forcing his way into a non-title match against “The Dragon”. A match that “The Nature Boy” would win. Fujinami would demand a formal match with Flair the following week but would once again be bested by “The Nature Boy” who continued to attack Fujinami after the match, intent on hurting and disrespecting him. One week later, “The Dragon” would deliver payback with an attack of his own. The two legends were scheduled to face off in a match the following week on WCW Saturday Night but Flair would attack Fujinami before the match, seemingly afraid of facing his rival head-on until their impending championship match.

In an effort to keep these two hall of famers from ripping each other to shreds before their championship match at Bash at the Beach, WCW officials would pair them up as a tag team against Dustin Rhodes and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat '91. However, this would prove to backfire as Flair and Fujinami went on to clash in their match, trying to one-up each other instead of working together.

Last night on WCW Saturday Night, Tatsumi Fujinami would pick up a much needed victory and much needed momentum heading into Bash at the Beach with a victory over Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat '94. “The Nature Boy” would appear after the match and engage in another post-match brawl with Fujinami, this time ending inside the walls of a steel cage that Flair had summoned down from the heavens. It became clear to WCW officials that the WCW World Heavyweight Championship match at Bash at the Beach would be contested in a Steel Cage match!

Match #6
WCW World Heavyweight Championship
Main Event
Steel Cage Match
Ric Flair '88 vs Tatsumi Fujinmai
Winner via escape and NEW WCW World Heavyweight Champion: Tatsumi Fujinami (** ½ Good)

INJURY REPORT

VICTORY
The Rock 'N' Roll Express, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson persevered against the aggression of their rivals, The Enforcers, Arn Anderson and Larry Zbyszko, for a decisive win!
