World Tag Team Champion, The Rock '01 comes out to kick off SmackDown '00. He welcomes the people to The Rock's show and talks about his World Tag Team Championship match tonight with Mankind against The Brothers of Destruction. He states how Kane and The Undertaker are two of the most dominant Superstars in WWE history and how his championship match tonight will be one of the toughest of his career. However, anything that The Rock touches turns to gold. So after The Rock and The Sock beat The Brothers of Destruction tonight, they will add that notch on their titles and they will go down in WWE history as the greatest tag team champions of all time.

WWE Light Heavyweight Champion “The Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman comes out to the ring to talk about how out of all of the champions in the WWE, he is the greatest one and he'll prove it by beating anyone that the WWE puts in front of him, light heavyweight or not. He is suddenly interrupted by Eddie Guerrero who calls his bluff. Guerrero states that he is currently the top ranked WWE Superstar outside of the WWE Champion Shawn Michaels and The Big Show so as far as “Latino Heat” is concerned, he has the right to challenge Pillman for the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship. With Eddie as the Light Heavyweight Champ, he can go on to prove that “Latino Heat” is the best champion in the WWE. Pillman looks forward to the sweet, delicious taste of defeat that he will give Guerrero.

Middle Card Promo

Alundra Blayze comes out and calls out Ivory. Both talk about how the other is beneath them and not worth getting in the ring with which ends up with both Superstars looking to prove their superiority over the other in a match-up. Ivory wins the promo battle but can she follow it up with a victory over Alundra in a one on one contest?

Footage is shown of Lita victorious after a #1 contender's Fatal 4-Way Match earlier this month on RAW IS WAR.

Clips air of Trish Stratus coming out to the ring this past Monday night on RAW IS WAR and calling out the WWE Women's Champion, Jacqueline before engaging in a promo battle. Just like on SmackDown last week, Jacqueline looked poised to win the battle when Trish clocks Jacqueline leading to a brawl that Jacqueline won.
