WCW Monday Nitro
September, Week 1, Year 1

Last week on WCW Nitro, the WCW United States Champion Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 tried walking out of his match, attempting to take another shortcut to preserve his strength for more important matches. Ricky Steamboat '94 rushed to ringside to bring him back into the ring so the match could be finished. This was revenge from Steamboat whose match went awry two weeks ago after “The Hitman” attempted to distract him during his match, trying to get inside his rival's head.

Tonight on WCW Monday Nitro, the WCW United States Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart '98 will face off against Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat '94 in tonight's big main event. Both Superstars are coming off of big victories but one will walk away with a momentum-busting loss tonight!
