My WWE 2K18 Results: WCW Monday Nitro (Oct.W3.16)

WCW Monday Nitro
October, Week 3, 2016
Dayton, OH

Last week on Nitro, Ricky Steamboat '94 delivered payback against Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 with an attack of his own, angered by his rival's actions from two weeks ago. Both competitors now have two victories a piece over each other. Tonight, they will face off in the rubber match in tonight's main event.

Match #1
Two on One Brawl
Lord Steven Regal vs The Outsiders (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall)
Winner: The Outsiders

Middle Card Promo
Dean Malenko of The Four Hoursemen comes out and addresses Sting '99 (the #1 contender for Ric Flair's WCW World Heavyweight Championship) defeating “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson last week. “The Iceman” is out here to challenge Sting tonight. While he admits that the Vegas odds may favor Sting tonight, all that matters to Malenko is softening Sting enough for his match against Ric this Sunday at Halloween Havoc.
Promo Battle Winner: Sting '99

Match #2
Normal Match
Fit Finlay vs “Stunning” Steve Austin (w/”Flyin'” Brian Pillman)
Winner by pinfall: Fit Finlay (Celtic Cross)

Scott Hall is interviewed and teases that Big Kev will have an announcement later tonight. As far as right here and right now, Hall reveals that WCW management (and he stresses the “WCW”) have booked him in a six-man battle royal this Sunday at Halloween Havoc. Not just any battle royal. It's going to be Scott Hall against five WCW wrestlers. The Bad Guy versus the world and he's going to carve.them.up.

DDP takes on Disco Inferno just days before the WCW World Tag Team Championship match between the WCW World Tag Team Champions Bam Bam Bigelow and DDP against The Wolf Pack, Sting '98 and Disco Inferno.

Match #3
Non-Title
Normal Match
Disco Inferno vs Diamond Dallas Page '98 (w/Bam Bam Bigelow & Vader)
Winner by pinfall: Diamond Dallas Page '98 (Diamond Cutter)

The Total Package” Lex Luger has challenged the WCW Hardcore Champion Goldberg to a championship hardcore match this Sunday at Halloween Havoc. Goldberg has accepted the challenge but since they're both ready to throw down tonight in Dayton, Goldberg offers Luger an additional title shot right here tonight. The champ looks at the camera and tells WCW officials to consider this a Halloween Havoc promotional preview.

Match #4
WCW Hardcore Championship
Falls Count Anywhere Match
Goldberg '98 (c) vs Lex Luger
Winner by submission! and NEW WCW Hardcore Champion: Lex Luger (Torture Rack!)

Kevin Nash is interviewed and says that he is taking it upon himself to be in Sting '99's corner tonight despite the fact that him and Stinger '99 are on opposing battle lines. What matters to Nash more is that Dean Malenko doesn't have a match this Sunday at Halloween Havoc and according to the WCW rankings, “The Man of 1,000 Holds” is not only Ric Flair's second in command but he ranks just under Flair and Sting. As far as Nash is concerned, the nWo wants that spot.

Match #5
Normal Match
Sting '99 (w/Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) vs Dean Malenko (w/Ric Flair '91 & Arn Anderson)
Winner by submission!: Dean Malenko (Texas Cloverleaf)(After continual interference from The Four Horsemen)

Match #6
Main Event
Rivalry Match
Non-Title
Normal Match
Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 vs Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat '94
Winner by count out: Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 (** Average)

Bret Hart has won the tie-breaking fifth match via count out much to the chagrin of the WCW fans in Dayton who feel that “The Hitman” has taken the cheap and easy way to victory.

NEWS

TABLES MATCH
After Nitro went off the air, fighting broke out between Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 and Ricky Steamboat '94 after their non-title match, ending with a big crash through a table! Their WCW United States Championship match this Sunday at Halloween Havoc will now be a Tables Match!
