Last week on SmackDown Live: The NEW WWE Champion Dean Ambrose wants to continue to prove himself and after capturing the WWE Championship “The Lunatic Fringe” has challenged John Cena to a championship match as the ultimate test for himself. Ambrose called out Cena last week and said that since they're teammates on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, they cannot have a big PPV championship match so Dean proposed a WWE Championship match on SmackDown Live for tonight. Cena of course was up for the challenge.

This Sunday at WWE Survivor Series: The WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews defends his championship against “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt.

However, tonight Luke Harper wants a championship match against Apollo, citing a pinfall he has over the current Intercontinental champ. SmackDown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan has met with Apollo who has stated that he is a fighting champion and that he will face both Harper and Wyatt tonight and at Survivor Series and he fully intends to shock the world by showing up to SmackDown Live next week with the Intercontinental Championship still around his waist.

This Sunday at WWE Survivor Series: RAW's WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak will face SmackDown Live's Kalisto in a match where if Kalisto wins the Cruiserweight Championship, the cruiserweight division will go to SmackDown Live.

During The Miz's rivalry against “The Viper” Randy Orton, “The A-Lister” employed the services of a legend from Orton's old legend killer list, longing for revenge. Roberts was able to earn one victory over “The Viper” who himself was eager for a rematch ever since. That rematch would take place last week but Randy would be denied his payback as “The Snake” disqualified himself by attacking Orton with a steel chair.

Middle Card Promo

“The Viper” Randy Orton challenges Jake “The Snake” Roberts to a No Holds Barred match next week on SmackDown Live and promises Roberts a permanent spot on his legend killer list.
