Tonight on SmackDown Live: The WWE Champion Dean Ambrose will be in action against “The Show Off” Dolph Ziggler!

The Miz comes out to the ring and talks about how two weeks ago on the Christmas edition of SmackDown Live, he promised that greatness was coming and he is pleased to inform the WWE Universe in Hawaii and all across the globe that tonight greatness has arrived.

The Miz's career in the WWE and in Hollywood is on a constant upward trajectory and tonight he will reach a new level of greatness when he defeats...The Undertaker!

The Phenom” has granted The Miz's foolish request for a match and plans of sending The Miz to hell tonight and again at the Royal Rumble. The Miz fires back with verbal jabs of disrespect which prompts Undertaker to strike. Undertaker and Miz brawl that ends with The Miz clotheslining Undertaker and being restrained by the official as Undertaker gets back on his feet.

PAYBACK: Last week on SmackDown Live, AJ Styles delivered payback against Baron Corbin with an attack of his own, angered by Corbin's actions from two weeks ago when he continued to attack Styles after their match that “The Lone Wolf” lost.

Post-Match: Baron Corbin's music hits and AJ is immediately ready to fight. However, Corbin slides in from behind and lays out Styles, leaving him prone on the mat.

Video Package: The SmackDown Tag Team Champions have been on quite the roll. They are also the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions with a staggering seven successful championship defenses (The most in NXT history). That succeed would follow them to SmackDown Live where they defeated The Vaudevillains to become new SmackDown Tag Team Champions and would go on to defeat them in a rematch.

Tonight: Chad Gable and Jason Jordan take on Breezango who look to end American Alpha's championship reign before it gets any further. Will Fandango and Tyler Breeze make good on their promise? Or will Gable and Jordan continue to gather successful championship defenses on SmackDown Live?

Bray Wyatt addresses Luke Harper's departure from The Wyatt Family and talks about the pitfalls of greed. Bray claims that Harper was seduced by the possibilities of glory. Harper wanted to win the Royal Rumble, go on to WrestleMania and therefore assume the mantle as the new leader of The Wyatt Family. This is why he fed Harper to the wolves last week and at the Royal Rumble he will do it personally.

Last week on SmackDown Live: WWE Hall of Famers The Fabulous Freebirds defeated Luke Harper in a three on one handicap match. As a result, Luke Harper is not in action tonight.

Video Package: In 2015, “The Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko was inducted into the 2015 class of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Video Package: For the past several weeks, Alexa Bliss has defeated Naomi with the assistance of the returning Mickie James, former WWE Women's Champion and former WWE Divas Champion. Last week on SmackDown Live, Naomi called out Mickie but was bested in the promo battle. Naomi's bad luck would continue last week on SmackDown Live when she went on to suffer a loss to Mickie James in her first match back. After the match, Mickie drove salt in the wound by attacking Naomi.

Last week on SmackDown Live: Carmella refused to be finished with The Bella Twins and put them on notice. Many Superstars in the past have used the WWE as a platform to springboard into other avenues. Much like them, “The Princess of Staten Island” plans to use The Bella Twins as a stepping stone to the SmackDown Women's Championship!

Earlier Tonight: Naomi was informed by SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan that Mickie James and Alexa Bliss both declined rematches against Naomi. At that point, Naomi just wants a match tonight to unleash her pent-up aggression and says that her opponent tonight is going to leave Honolulu tonight glowing black and blue.

Pre-Match: Naomi awaits Carmella who is dragged out onto the stage by Mickie James who makes a bee-line for Naomi. The two Superstars start brawling. The official breaks them up but is shoved off as the brawl continues. The segment ends with Naomi getting the upper hand.

Rating: Disaster

RINGSIDE DISTRACTION: Last week on SmackDown Live, Dean Ambrose came down to ringside during John Cena's match, determined to get into his rival's head with his distracting presence.

The WWE Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton reveals that he will be competing in this year's Royal Rumble match. Furthermore, he will be defending the Intercontinental Championship in two weeks on SmackDown Live and hopes that Shane McMahon and/or Daniel Bryan can find a suitable opponent for him soon.

BAD INTENTIONS
Mickie James attacked Naomi before their match, determined to hurt her opponent!

COWARDLY ATTACK
AJ Styles was attacked from behind after his match. Baron Corbin had to resort to using a distraction with his entrance music, afraid of facing his rival head-on.

MEDICAL UPDATE
Becky Lynch has made a complete recovery from her injuries, and is ready to compete at full strength again!
