My WWE 2K18 Results: WWE Elimination Chamber (Feb.W3.17)

WWE Elimination Chamber
February.Week 3.2017
Sacramento, CA

Last Tuesday night on SmackDown Live: Unable to wait for their title match at Elimination Chamber, Natalya ruined a scheduled match by taking out Becky Lynch's opponent. Fighting continued between the two rivals as the referee was unable to control the situation!

The history of the SmackDown Women's Championship: Becky Lynch defeated the inaugural SmackDown Women's Champion, Nikki Bella, in October before losing the title to Natalya in December. Becky and Natalya would spend all of December losing the title to each other before Natalya ultimately defeated Becky in a championship rematch on the final SmackDown Live of 2016, finally turning Becky away.

Lynch spent all of January out of the title picture. However, once February arrived “The Lasskicker” once again challenged Natalya for the SmackDown Women's Championship. Tonight, the opportunity for Becky Lynch to once again take on Natalya has come. Will all of Becky's training pay off? Will she finally regain the SmackDown Women's Championship and become a three-time champion?

Up Next: #DIY of NXT currently hold the record for longest combined days as NXT Tag Team Champions in WWE history at 315 days.

The Ascension are right behind #DIY with 301 combined days as NXT Tag Team Champions.

The reigning NXT Tag Team Champions, American Alpha, have now been champions for 294 days and are poised to catch up to The Ascension if they can hang on to their titles. American Alpha already hold the record for the most successful title defenses with 10 under their belts.

American Alpha appeared to have similar plans for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships before ultimately losing the titles to The Usos at 47 days with two successful title defenses. Some have speculated that Chad Gable and Jason Jordan may be fatigued or hurt but they insist otherwise and add that they will win back the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Interview: The reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos. Talk about how they didn't spend years and years working hard and fighting harder to let two rookies come into The Uso Penitentiary and act like they're going to take over. The Usos plan on showing American Alpha where they stand in the pecking order by beating them again tonight. American Alpha: WELCOME...TO THE USO PENITENTIARY!

Since defeating Mickie James last month at the Royal Rumble PPV, Naomi would go on to pick up one more victory over Mickie.

Last Tuesday night on SmackDown Live: Mickie James came down to ringside before her rival's match with suspicious intent that she made clear after entering the ring and attacking Naomi! The match ended in disqualification as the two Superstars continued to fight each other!

Interview: Mickie James gives Naomi credit for her wins in battle against Mickie but she adds that people only care about who won the war and tonight Mickie James plans to win this war against Naomi and end her first rivalry since her WWE return on a high note.

Middle Card Promo
Baron Corbin reveals that he is no longer competing in tonight's Elimination Chamber match. Corbin knows that he was poised to be the next WWE Intercontinental Championship but what many don't realize is that Corbin is currently also poised to be the next challenger for the WWE Championship. So “The Lone Wolf” had to make a choice and he chose to wait and challenge for the WWE Championship.

He tells the Intercontinental Champion, Randy Orton, how lucky he is that he doesn't have to face Corbin in the chamber tonight and tells the WWE Champion, John Cena and the former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose just how unlucky they are now that Corbin is waiting to strike.

Last month on SmackDown Live: Brie Bella defended her sister Nikki's honor and defeated the boisterous Carmella. Carmella then challenged Brie to a rematch but kept postponing the date of said rematch leading The Bella Twins, The Bella Army and the rest of the WWE Universe to label Carmella as a coward. “The Princess of State Island” argues that she only wanted to beat Brie on a big stage like Elimination Chamber before setting her sights on Nikki.

Up next: The WWE Intercontinental Champion, “The Viper” Randy Orton, currently holds the most successful championship defenses for the Intercontinental Championship at three. The most out of any other Intercontinental Champion this season. Tonight will be his stiffest test as champion, having to contend with five other challengers. Will tonight be The Viper's fourth successful title defense?

For the past several months there has been a rift within The Wyatt Family that came to a head when “The Eater of Worlds” fed Luke Harper to the wolves, fearing that a Royal Rumble victory for Harper was really an impending coup planned by Harper to seize leadership of The Wyatt Family. Tonight, Bray looks to dispose of his ex-disciple that he has written off as a failure. Harper, now out on his own, looks to capture Intercontinental gold tonight by beating Wyatt in the process and rising above where he was always positioned by the leader of The Wyatt Family!

The Miz is still riding high from his monumental victory over The Undertaker last month and is looking to add to his momentum with another big win tonight against five other WWE Superstars and regain the Intercontinental Championship as Miz continues his quest to become the greatest Intercontinental Champion in WWE history.

Apollo Crews is one of WWE's promising rising stars with a victory over then-WWE Champion Dean Ambrose as well as John Cena. Tonight, Apollo looks to regain the title that he held for most of the Fall last year!

The Big Red Machine” Kane pinned Bray Wyatt in a Fatal 4-Way Match to qualify to compete in the Elimination Chamber. Although, many consider Kane to be tonight's dark horse in the match, he is the most experienced Superstar in the match as well as the biggest. On paper, Kane looks like he is the favorite to win.
