WCW Saturday Night
February.Week 3.2017
Atlanta, GA

Last week on WCW Saturday Night: Ricky Steamboat '91 was attacked from behind after his match. Stunning Steve Austin had to resort to using a distraction with his entrance music, afraid of facing his rival head-on.

Tonight on WCW Saturday Night: Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and “Stunning” Steve Austin will be forced to coexist when they team up to take on The Four Horsemen's “Nature Boy” Ric Flair '91 and Arn Anderson!

This Sunday at Clash of the Champions: The WCW World Tag Team Champions, The Rock 'n' Roll Express will take on The Fabulous Freebirds in a championship rematch, this time under tornado tag team rules!

Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson have been seemingly unstoppable since capturing the WCW World Tag Team Championships. Just last week, Robert Gibson picked up a victory in singles action over one of his opponents this Sunday, Jimmy “Jam” Garvin. While Ricky Morton defeated the current number one contender for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship '88, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair '88 two weeks ago!

Interview: Ricky Morton explains how he can make a claim to challenge the WCW World Heavyweight Champion '88 with his big victory over Ric Flair two weeks ago. Robert Gibson then explains why he could shock the world and beat the WCW World Heavyweight Champion '88 if he were to accept a challenge from Gibson. However, The Rock 'n' Roll Express are tag team division wrestlers and these big victories prove that the WCW World Tag Team Championships are on-par with the WCW World Heavyweight Championships. So this Sunday at Clash of the Champions, they plan on showcasing that firsthand when they successfully defend the WCW World Tag Team Championships against the former champs, The Fabulous Freebirds!
