The reigning WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann surprised a lot of people when he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura last month at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio. Although Nakamura would even the score with a win of his own, leading to a rubber match last weekend at NXT Live in Nashville. However, the bout would leave the WWE Universe with an unsatisfying result when Swann defeated Nakamura but via count out.

Tonight on NXT: The NXT General Manager, William Regal has announced that in tonight's main event, Rich Swann will take on Shinsuke Nakamura and the winner will go on to challenge the NXT Champion, Samoa Joe, next month at NXT TakeOver: Orlando!

Last month at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio: The WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann picked up a monumental upset victory when he defeated “The King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura.

Last Month on NXT: TJ Perkins defeated Cezar Bononi in a bout of David versus Goliath proportions. Tonight, an angry and humiliated Bononi is out to even the score against the cruiserweight “Phil-Am Flash”.
