WWE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION: TJ Perkins

LAST WEEK ON RAW: The WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins met with The Brian Kendrick and insinuated that Kendrick had fallen from grace. Kendrick went on to prove that he was as dangerous as ever when he defeated TJ's Payback challenger, Gentleman Jack Gallagher later that night.

THIS PAST MONDAY NIGHT ON RAW: Gallagher and Kendrick would face off in a rematch that saw Kendrick once again pick up a victory over the gentleman, making some wonder if TJ Perkins has gotten inside the head of Gentleman Jack Gallagher.

TONIGHT ON 205 LIVE: The WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins wants his championship match against Gentleman Jack Gallagher next week at Payback to be light work, so he has once again offered The Brian Kendrick the opportunity to face the title challenger, Gallagher right here tonight. Gallagher is also looking to mount a comeback and kickstart some momentum heading into the title match at Payback. As an added stipulation, Perkins has been banned from ringside.

Can Gallagher turn things around tonight or will it be another satisfying night for TJ Perkins and The Brian Kendrick?

TWO WEEKS AGO ON 205 LIVE: “The Japanese Buzzsaw” Tajiri defeated Ariya Daivari, seemingly settling the score between the two Superstars.

LAST WEEK ON 205 LIVE: Ariya Daivari talked about how much better he is than Tajiri and refused to be finished with “The Japanese Buzzsaw” until that statement is abundantly clear. Daivari brings up Tajiri's roots in ECW and challenged him to an Extreme Rules Match!

“The Premiere Athlete” Tony Nese calls out Lince Dorado and challenges him to a rematch. Lince is ready and roaring to go but Nese tells him that this rematch will happen under Nese's terms and Nese's time. Lince then playfully calls Nese a coward, pities him and throws him a pity party with the WWE Universe. Nese is so taken aback by this idiocy that he loses any desire to even step back into the ring with Lince.

THREE WEEKS AGO ON 205 LIVE: Drew Gulak tried to walk out of his match against Gran Metalik, thinking that his opponent was not worth the effort of fighting. Metalik would go on to defeat Gulak in that match. Last week on 205 Live, Gulak demanded another match against Metalik, refusing to let “The King of the Ropes” get the better of him in their rivalry. Gulak would go on to beat Metalik with the Gu-Lock.

MIDDLE CARD PROMO

Drew Gulak revels in his rubber match victory over Gran Metalik last week on 205 Live. He goes over how high-flying and diving will only lead you to ruin. Exhibit A is Gran Metalik, “The King of the Ropes”, the man who should really be known as “The King of getting outwrestled and stretched by Drew Gulak”. For everyone else's sake on 205 Live, Gulak warns the roster about the ills of a fast-paced and high-flying style of competition but looks forward in exploiting this “flaw” on his way up the top of the 205 Live food chain!.

LAST WEEK ON 205 LIVE: Cedric Alexander defeated Mustafa Ali in an amazing four-star match via submission with the famous figure four leg lock.

UP NEXT: Cedric looks to continue to climb the cruiserweight ranks with a victory over “The Greatest Man That Ever Lived” Austin Aries. Can Cedric pick up a big win over the former title contender in this big bout?

WWE SOCIAL MEDIA: The latest gossip is that former 205 Live Superstar Noam Dar was left speechless when he was dumped by Alicia Fox who revealed that she was just using Dar to get back at her ex-boyfriend Cedric Alexander. Fox then made an attempt to befriend Rich Swann who immediately shut her down, citing her treatment of Cedric.

NEXT ON 205 LIVE: If former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann looks to activate his title rematch clause in his contract, he wants to take down the man who beat him last week first, Akira Tozawa!
