LAST WEEK ON WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING: Kerry and Kevin Von Erich successfully defended the WCCW World Tag Team Championships against The Fabulous Freebirds, settling their score once and for all.

TONIGHT: Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat '91 challenges The Ultimate Warrior to a WCCW World Heavyweight Championship rematch. If “The Dragon” loses then his WCCW contract will not be renewed.

ALSO TONIGHT: Desperate to stay in WCCW World Tag Team Championship contention, Michael “PS” Hayes has challenged The Von Erichs to a six-man tag team match against the full Freebird line-up of Hayes, Buddy Roberts and Jimmy “Jam” Garvin who are recent heated rivals. Will this last ditch gambit pay off for “PS” Hayes?

After The Von Erichs' big rivalry win against Michael “PS” Hayes and Buddy Roberts, they look to put an exclamation mark on it with an emphatic six-man win tonight.

NEXT: Now that the WCCW World Tag Team Champions, The Von Erichs, are open to challenges, Rick Rude has set his sights on tag team gold and he plans on making a statement by taking out The Rock 'N' Roll Express!

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Michael Hayes meets with Buddy Roberts and talks about how they need to be the best tag team in the WCCW history books and not The Von Erichs and he doesn't care if WCCW is the Von Erich family business. The Freebirds are the greatest team of all time and Hayes can't afford to have infighting within the group.

Buddy Roberts starts to protest and talks about how he made the executive decision to give Jimmy “Jam” Garvin the boot from the group to make The Freebirds leaner and meaner. Hayes contests this by asking Buddy why Hayes and Garvin are three-time WCW World Tag Team Champions over on WCW Saturday Night and Buddy and Hayes haven't been WCCW World Tag Team Champions since May of last year.

Jimmy “Jam” enters the room and Buddy immediately stands up looking very standoffish. Hayes gives a rallying speech and tells them that they can tear each other limb from limb after tonight is over. Tonight's a match is a must-win for The Freebirds because if they lose then they are out of contention for the tag titles for the rest of the season.

If The Von Erichs can make it to week 3 of June with the WCCW World Tag Team Championships then it would mark one full year for them as the WCCW World Tag Team Champions! Of course, American Alpha almost made it to one year as NXT Tag Team Champions but ended up losing those titles just four days shy of reaching the one year mark. Can The Von Erichs do it?
