IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Kurt Angle is giddy with excitement over getting Team ECK back together. Edge and Christian agree but don't look as thrilled. Kurt says that after tonight, relations between the United States and Canada will reach an all-time high after both nations witness the harmony of Team ECK.

As Angle walks off, Edge notes that this match is only happening because it's a scheduled rematch from 17 years ago. Christian replies by asking Edge if there are any more ECK matches left in store. Edge isn't sure but says that can always turn on Kurt when the time is right before they both smile and proclaim that “betrayal rocks!”
