TONIGHT ON RAW: There will be a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine who will challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble! Mr. McMahon will announce the competitors tonight!

SHOW OPENER PROMO

Baron Corbin tells the WWE Universe that they think they're fortunate to not have to deal with Corbin as the RAW General Manager but they're in for a fate they'll hate even more: Baron Corbin as their WWE Universal Champion. Braun Strowman bursts onto the scene and promises Corbin that he won't let that happen on his watch. Corbin eventually sends Strowman over the edge which prompts “The Monster Among Men” to lay orbin out with a flattening clothesline which sets off a brawl that Corbin is able to get the better of!

IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA: Kevin Owens tells Sami Zayn that he finds it odd how they haven't been talking to each other much as of late ever since Sami decided to start hanging around Bobby Lashley. Sami insists that everything is still great between Kevin and him but also insists that he needs to do this for Bobby.

LAST WEEK ON RAW: Kevin Owens defeated Bray Wyatt to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship!

INTERVIEW: Since capturing the Intercontinental Championship in May of last year, Kevin Owens has successfully defended the title against Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Bobby Roode, Finn Bálor and his demon, Chad Gable and Bray Wyatt across four reigns and multiple defenses against guys he aready beat.

NEXT: Kevin Owens looks to continue to add to his tally when he defends the WWE Intercontinental Championship! His challenger was scheduled to be Elias until he was taken out of commission earlier tonight by Baron Corbin. As a result, KO will now have to face TWO challengers: two Superstars who have been engaged in a budding rivalry the past several weeks!

NOTE: As a result of limitations from the WWE 2K20 game, one female Superstar will represent her respective team inside the chamber.

Alexa then introduces her guest Paul Heyman who broke down how Brock Lesnar was going to effortlessly eliminate 29 other Superstars in the Royal Rumble match when Otis Dozovic of Heavy Machinery wandered out and began to yell excitedly until Tucker Knight restrained him.
