With Charlotte Flair securing her place as the top challenger for SmackDown Women's Champion Lana at Royal Rumble, “The Queen” wastes no time running down “The Ravishing Russian”. Showing that she will not take kindly to insults such as “paper champion,” Lana arrives and bluntly tells Charlotte that she is going down in Phoenix.

The Miz wishes Shane McMahon a happy birthday before Shane opens up to Miz about how he's always wanted to be tag team champion, adding that he is honored to be walking into the Royal Rumble with Miz as his partner. Miz assures that they will achieve Shane's dream by becoming SmackDown Tag Team Champions at Royal Rumble.

The Bar arrives and make it clear that Miz and Shane should get all the celebrating out of their systems now because there is no way they will be celebrating after their match at the Royal Rumble. Shane-O-Mac takes great exception to that claim, suggesting that Sheamus should square off with Miz right now if he's really as big and bad as he's suggesting, which catches Miz off-guard.

Suddenly, The Miz is also caught off-guard by a vicious low blow kick that floors him onto the mat. Miz is soon able to recover and scuffle ensues between “The A-Lister” and “The Celtic Warrior” in a brawl that The Miz gets the better of!
