My WWE 2K18 Results: World Class Championship Wrestling (July.Week 1)
World
Class Championship Wrestling
July, Week 1, Year 1
Fort Worth, TX
In
one of the biggest upsets in history, Rikishi defeated Andre The
Giant in WCCW's tournament to crown its champion. Naturally furious
at being defeated by what he sees as a comedy act, Andre would attack
Rikishi the following week on World Class Championship Wrestling only
to be repelled back and left laying by a hip drop as Rikishi looks to
be using this monumental opportunity to let the world know that he is
one of the baddest big men in wrestling history. The upsets would
continue to pour in as Rikishi, alongside WCCW World Heavyweight
Champion Shawn Michaels '97, would go on to defeat Andre and “The
Nature Boy” Ric Flair '88 in tag team action.
With
all of that momentum in Rikishi's favor, he would look to move on to
new things, higher ranked things and his next stop on the WCCW ladder
just so happened to be The Undertaker. However, Rikishi's opportunity
would be ruined by an angry attacking Andre which caused a no
contest. When the smoke cleared...Rikishi once again would be the one
leaving “The Eighth Wonder of the World” laying.
So
tonight on World Class Championship Wrestling, after defeating Andre
The Giant and thwarting his attempted attacks, the giant is out of
the picture. Rikishi is moving on and he has issued another challenge
to The Undertaker tonight!
A
champion in Japan, “The Dragon” Tatsumi Fujinami has come to
World Class Championship Wrestling and has brought the fighting
spirit with him that has won him championships all over the globe.
Now he has his sights set on the WCCW World Heavyweight Championship.
A championship that “The Dragon” feels that he needs in order to
become a champion of the entire globe. However, in order to get there
he must defeat a multitude of WCCW competitors. Tonight, he must face
the fearsome brawler, Cactus Jack '92. A man who suffered a loss in a
WCCW World Heavyweight Championship match last week and is furiously
looking to take that aggression out on anyone in his path. Surely a
victory over a legend like Tatsumi Fujinami will send Cactus Jack
right back into the title picture.
