Middle Card Promo
The Show Off” Dolph Ziggler comes out and is incredulous over being left off tonight's SmackDown Live. He was promised a match until he found out that the match was cancelled by the Director of Operations, Kane. He calls out Kane who defends his actions and tells Dolph to wait until he is needed. Ziggler talks about how he is the best performer on SmackDown Live and accuses Kane of still being a henchman of The Authority on RAW. Kane assures Ziggler that he is here to serve and assist Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan to the best of his ability and threatens Dolph to fall in line.

Match #3
Tag Team Match
The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) vs The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper)(w/Bray Wyatt)
Winners: The Usos (Tequila Sunrise on Rowan)

Middle Card Promo
The WWE Intercontinental Champion Alberto Del Rio comes out and says that although he regrets being separated from his fellow League of Nations members, he is thrilled because now the spotlight is right where it belongs. Solely on Del Rio. He gives his thanks to Rusev and Sheamus for softening up the rookie, Apollo Crews for him because as far as Alberto was concerned, Apollo had way too much momentum for his liking and now he's ripe for the picking. Apollo comes out and and gives Rusev and Sheamus credit for being some of the toughest Superstars that he has ever faced but Apollo is sure that it won't be too long until he is ready to defeat them. However, Crews points out that Del Rio has yet to beat him and how embarrassing will it be for Del Rio when he's defeated by Apollo after all of that trash talking. In the end, it will be Alberto who will be exposed as someone not on Apollo, Rusev or Sheamus' level!

Alberto starts berating Crews who then challenges Del Rio to a fight right here tonight. Del Rio declines and creates excuses like needing to take a flight to the dentist tomorrow so as to not be late and incur expensive fees. Apollo points out the cowardice of Alberto not wanting to fight which prompts Alberto to blindside Crews with a cheap shot. A brawl breaks out that Del Rio gets the best of. Will he be able to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Apollo this Sunday at Battleground?

Match #4
Normal Match
Tyson Kidd vs Kalisto
Winner by pinfall: Tyson Kidd (Fisherman Neckbreaker)(*** ½ Great)
Post-Match: Kidd offers a handshake that Kalisto accepts before the luchador raises Kidd's arm in a sign of good sportsmanship after a great match.

Middle Card Promo
The WWE United States Champion, “The Viper” Randy Orton comes out and addresses the incident on this past Monday's edition of RAW where Chris Jericho attacked him with a ladder. He gives Jericho credit for winning the rubber match in their series and admits to underestimating Jericho's abilities but warns Jericho that he has introduced the very object that will be his undoing at Battleground this Sunday. He congratulates Jericho on winning a couple of matches but gives his regrets on Jericho losing the United States Championship match on Sunday.

A vignette aired promoting the return of Shelton Benjamin coming soon.
