The WWE has invaded WCW as Triple H '01 comes out to the ring and calls out the WCW Hardcore Champion Goldberg '98. “The Game” talks about how he is sick of all of the Goldberg chants and he's here to finally put an end to Goldberg and those idiotic chants. They exchange heated words before Triple H wins the promo battle, making a major statement.

Last week on Nitro, WCW United States Champion Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 resorted to a disrespectful display, offering a handshake to Ricky Steamboat '94 to lure him into a cheap shot during their match.

Pre-Match: WCW United States Champion Bret “Hitman” Hart '98 comes out to ringside to watch the match closely.
Mid-Match: The action spills to the outside when Regal suddenly charges at Steamboat who moves out the way, sending Regal crashing into “The Hitman”.

The WWE has invaded WCW as The Undertaker '00 comes out to the ring and calls out Kevin Nash. Nash and 'Taker engage in a promo battle that “The American Bad Ass” gets the better of as WWE fires another shot at WCW.

Last week on Nitro, Stunning Steve Austin attacked Fit Finlay from behind before their match could start, ignoring the referee's orders to stop and having the match called off. Fighting continued between the two rivals. For the past several weeks now their matches have ended in a no contest. Tonight, Austin and Finaly look to finally end this rivalry with an emphatic statement!
