WWE RAW
August, Week 3, Year 1
Biloxi, MS

Show Opener Promo
Rusev comes out and proclaims that after he defeats The Big Show tonight, Rusev will go on to SummerSlam and then win the WWE Universal Championship. Rusev says that he is ready to crush The Big Show tonight and then at SummerSlam he will crush either Brock Lesnar or Jack Swagger.

Match #1
Normal Match
Sami Zayn (w/Kevin Owens) vs Finn Balor
Winner by pinfall: Sami Zayn (Torpedo DDT)(** Average)

Middle Card Promo
Jack Swagger comes out to talk about his big match next week against “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar with an opportunity to go to SummerSlam and compete for the WWE Universal Championship on the line. He talks about their match at Battleground and how Swagger has been replaying that match over and over again in his head ever since. Next week on RAW, Swagger gets his chance at Brock Lesnar once more. Will this be Swagger's time? It's been a long road back to the main event for Jack Swagger and it has never been this close within reach. Will Jack be back at SummerSlam?

Match #2
Normal Match
Beth Phoenix vs Alicia Fox
Winner by submission: Beth Phoenix

Chris Jericho has approached RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon on behalf of The New Millenia (the faction consisting of Jericho, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn) and spills his heart out talking about how he's sick of this hatred that's been raging on between himself and Randy Orton. Jericho thinks that “The Viper” would make a solid addition to The New Millenia and requests a tag team match with Orton as his partner tonight. Stephanie doesn't know what Chris has up his sleeve but thinks the idea is interesting enough to approve it.

Match #3
Rivalry Match
Tag Team Match
Randy Orton & Chris Jericho vs Enzo Amore & Big Cass
Pre-Match: Orton goes to start the match when Jericho tags himself in much to Randy's annoyance.
Mid-Match: In retaliation, Orton tags himself in and is decked by Jericho who walks out on the match.
Winners: Enzo Amore & Big Cass (*** ½ Great)

Footage is shown of “The Savior of Misbehavior” Corey Graves picking up the biggest win of his career over the WWE United States Champion Randy Orton last week on RAW. Graves has been bragging and boasting endlessly all week long. So much so that the RAW General Manager Mick Foley wants to see if Graves can keep that momentum rolling this week. Foley insinuates that Corey's win last week was more of a big fluke and it seems like the only way to strike that thought from people's heads would be for Graves to rack up as many big wins over game competitors as he can.

Match #4
Normal Match
Corey Graves vs Neville
Winner by pinfall: Neville (Red Arrow)

Match #5
Normal Match
Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooke (w/Charlotte & Ric Flair)
Winner by submission: Sasha Banks (Bank Statement)

Middle Card Promo
Jinder Mahal comes out to brag about defeating Heath Slater last week on RAW to earn his WWE contract. He tells Slater that it's not personal but simply business...and that business consists of Jinder taking Monday Night RAW by storm and taking out everyone who steps in his path.

Match #6
#1 Contender's Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Tag Team Match
The Club (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs The Shining Stars (Primo & Epico)
Winners and #1 contenders: The Club

Show Closer Promo
Brock Lesnar comes out to the ring and talks about his match against Jack Swagger next week on RAW for a shot at the Universal Championship at SummerSlam. If “The Beast” is successful next week then he will either face Rusev or Big Show at SummerSlam. Brock tells Rusev and Show that it doesn't matter which one of them wins tonight because it's going to be a bad day at the office for either of them at SummerSlam. Brock says that Universal Championship is as good as his.

Match #7
Main Event
WWE Universal Championship Opportunity at SummerSlam
Normal Match
Rusev (w/Lana) vs Big Show
Winner by pinfall: Big Show (KO Punch)

NEWS

CLASH OF EGOS
Chris Jericho and Randy Orton were scheduled into a tag match that went disastrous for them. Both Superstars were clearly focused on trying to one-up each other before their title match at SummerSlam.
