Next week at the WWE Royal Rumble: The WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann will defend the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Gentleman Jack Gallagher.

Tonight on 205 Live: The WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann will team up with Gentleman Jack Gallagher to take on the team on Austin Aries and The Brian Kendrick, two cruiserweights with chips on their shoulders and who firmly believe that they should be the ones at the top of 205 Live.

Last week on 205 Live: Ariya Daivari defeated Tajiri but then went on to attack “The Japanese Buzzsaw” after the match, looking to send a message to the rest of the cruiserweights on 205 Live. Since then, Tajiri has requested a rematch against Daivari.

Two weeks ago on 205 Live: Drew Gulak was defeated by Cruiserweight Classic competitor Fabian Aichner in what some are calling an upset victory. Gulak himself was left stewing all week and demanded a rematch. A rematch where Gulak would submit Aichner with the Gu-Lock.

Tonight on 205 Live: Unsatisfied with last week's outcome, Drew Gulak has once again challenged WWE Cruiserweight Classic competitor Fabian Aichner so he can remove any doubt about who is the better man, who is the superior Cruiserweight on 205 Live, and who belongs here and who does not.

Last Week on 205 Live: Drew Gulak was defeated by Cruiserweight Classic competitor Fabian Aichner in what some are calling an upset victory. Gulak himself has been stewing all week and has been demanding a rematch.

Last Week on 205 Live: Mustafa Ali talked about his recent rivalry with Tony Nese , in which he recently picked up a victory over “The Premiere Athlete”. While it's been intense, Ali has been enjoying every minute it and calls Nese great competition. So when Nese offered him a handshake, of course Ali wanted to accept it. However, Ali would immediately learn how much of a sore loser Nese was when he kicked Ali down low. He says that Nese must feel threatened as a competitor and maybe even as a man.

Tony Nese then appeared and tells Ali to get it straight. Nese is “The Premiere Athlete” which means he takes a backseat to nobody on 205 Live. Ali replied by saying that he would be glad to be the one to teach Nese a lesson in being humble and challenged Nese to a rematch.

Two weeks ago on 205 Live: In an effort to remain completely focused, Cedric Alexander asked Alicia Fox to stay backstage during his Fatal 4-Way Match tonight. He cited his loss to Austin Aries on RAW last month as a precedent.

Last week on 205 Live: Alicia Fox, in an effort to prove that she is not a hindrance to Cedric Alexander at ringside, successfully got him a rematch against Austin Aries. Fox wanted to be at ringside last week to see Cedric beat Aries in the rematch so he can then realize that she isn't a hindrance to him at ringside. This would ultimately backfire as Aries would dispatch Cedric in 51 seconds.

Backstage: After Cedric Alexander's match last week, he broke up with Alicia Fox who was distraught.

All they have to do is work together and exploit the fact that Swann and Gallagher will be opponents at the Royal Rumble.
