Tonight, Latino Heat's opponent is the next Superstar ranked above him and that is none other than Mr. Have Mercy himself, Dude Love. Eddie has nothing against The Dudester and could even see himself partying with him but tonight “Latino Heat” is all business and he's going into that match tonight with the goal of gold on his mind!

LAST WEEK ON SMACKDOWN '00: The WWE Women's Champion '98-'10 Trish Stratus defeated Jacqueline in a non-title match. After the match, Jacqueline would offer a very wary Trish a handshake, a handshake that she eventually accepted.

Jacqueline talks about the matches that she has had with Trish Stratus and puts her over as one of the greatest women's champions of all time, worthy of Jacqueline's respect. She adds that being in front of her hometown crowd last week reminded her of the connection she used to share with the WWE Universe. A connection Jacqueline has really missed. The segment ends with Jacqueline embracing the WWE Universe.

COMING UP NEXT: Ron Simmons is not ranked high enough to compete in a number one contender's match for the WWE European Championship so he has challenged the champion himself, Stone Cold Steve Austin, to a match tonight with the knowledge that (A) A non-title victory over the champion pretty much guarantees an opportunity at the title. And (B) “The Rattlesnake” never turns down a challenge.

Ivory talks about how unfair it is that the WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus robbed any potential challengers of an opportunity by picking the easy road and challenging her “bestie” Lita to a WrestleMania women's championship match. Ivory claims that Trish did this so she can have an easy night at WrestleMania by beating someone she has already beaten before. Well, Ivory refuses to stand for it and calls out Stratus and her courage.

They talk about how Too Cool have made it a habit of pulling off major upsets seemingly time after time. Their win against The Nation of Domination on RAW IS WAR was the cherry on top. Now they feel like it's time to issue a challenge to the World Tag Team Champions. Rikishi and Too Cool all agree that they want to leave WrestleMania X-Seven with gold around each one of their waists.
